FOUNDATIONS CLASSES

The importance of a good foundation cannot be overemphasised, that’s why these are the first classes for new students to attend.

These sessions cover the foundational elements of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, including the main positions, most common and effective techniques, concepts and principles.

Foundations Classes are paramount to help beginners lay a solid foundation for further growth and development in the sport.

Comprehensive Classes

Comprehensive Classes cover a wider breadth of techniques for Jiu Jitsu. The content of these lessons extends beyond, but also reinforces, the curriculum in our Foundations Classes.

Both beginner and intermediate students are welcome to attend. Beginners are assisted by more experienced students who have already gained a competence of the fundamentals.

Intermediate students are able to ensure that they keep all aspects of their Jiu Jitsu sharp and well practiced through attending these classes.

LADIES TEAM

The Ladies Team is structured to create a comfortable and safe framework for our female students by allowing sparring with other women only.

Our Ladies Team slots into our existing class group and format, so everyone is on the mat together to enjoy the community aspect of the club.

When it comes to the practicing of techniques and sparring, the Ladies Team will work together and pair up amongst themselves.

Advanced Classes

Our Advanced Classes are designed for students who have a good foundational knowledge of the sport and are looking to develop their skills further.

In these sessions more advanced techniques are covered and there’s a greater emphasis on the competitive element of sparring.

Students may attend these classes by invite only or if they have the minimum required experience or rank.

Competition Classes

Competition classes are a platform where students can focus exclusively on sparring.

These sessions don’t include any teaching of technique but are excellent for building fitness, honing of skills and practical application of Jiu Jitsu.

We recommend students have at least 3 to 6 months experience with our other classes before joining our competition classes.
